On August 12, Fernando Villalona, ”El Mayimbe” with a musical care of more than five decades, returns to Altos de Chavón as part of our 40th anniversary celebration.
As part of the 40th-anniversary celebration of the Altos de Chavón amphitheater, Big Show Pro and Casa de Campo will present the grand concert “Fernando Villalona, El Mayimbe Returns to Chavón” on August 12 starting at 8:00 pm. The artist will take the audience through his five decades of musical career.
In 1986, “El Niño Mimado” rocked the stage of a budding amphitheater that had already hosted world-famous stars such as the illustrious Frank Sinatra, Buddy Rich, Santana, Joan Jett, and Heart.
